Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire an experienced medical malpractice litigation paralegal. This full-time role is ideal for a detail oriented professional who thrives in a fast paced litigation environment and is comfortable supporting complex medical based legal matters. Key Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in all phases of medical malpractice litigation, • Gather, review, and summarize medical records and billing information, • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, chronologies, and deposition summaries, • Coordinate with medical experts, including scheduling, document production, and communications, • Manage case files, organize evidence, and maintain databases, • Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials, • File documents with state and federal courts, and monitor court deadlines, • Communicate with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and internal teams, • Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparationQualifications:, • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in medical malpractice, • Strong understanding of medical terminology, records, and healthcare documentation, • Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records required, • Familiarity with state and federal litigation procedures, • Proficiency with legal practice software, e-filing systems, and Microsoft Office, • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a legal teamThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
