Job Description Job Title: Shift Welder Fabricator Job Description Join our team as a Welder Fabricator, where you'll play a crucial role in welding and fabricating steel staircases, railings, and other structural components. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with their hands to create high-quality steel products. Responsibilities • Weld and fabricate steel staircases, railings, and structural components., • Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails using a hand grinder and polisher., • Utilize welding equipment to create precise and durable welds., • Move and load products after shipment completion., • Handle materials such as steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum., • Minimum of 2 years experience in grinding and polishing., • Proficiency in MIG welding and steel fabrication., • Experience with TIG welding. Work Environment Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where everyone is expected to stay on task to meet shipment deadlines. The team is tight-knit and supportive, with a focus on accountability and high-quality work. Totaling 45-55 hours per week. 2nd shift working hours: 4pm 2:30am and training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
