ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Account Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member for Daniel Parker - State Farm Agent, you play an important role in both our daily operations and the quality of the customer relationships we build. You work with existing and prospective customers, conduct thoughtful account reviews, identify changing insurance and financial needs and help work through more detailed customer situations. You use your experience to explain coverage clearly, identify appropriate solutions and follow through on the details. You will have the opportunity to use your judgment, take initiative and move customer conversations toward action when you identify an opportunity to improve their insurance or financial position. This position is designed for an experienced insurance professional who wants to continue growing professionally rather than simply processing transactions. As a knowledgeable, accountable and relationship-minded professional who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership of customer needs, you will have opportunities to broaden your insurance knowledge and take on greater responsibility within our agency. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that support retention, referrals and agency growth., • Conduct household and account reviews to identify changing insurance needs and potential coverage gaps., • Explain insurance coverage, options and tradeoffs in clear, practical language., • Work with households that may include multiple vehicles, properties, teenage drivers and greater liability exposure., • Assist business owners with commercial insurance needs and account reviews., • Identify opportunities for conversations involving life, retirement and broader financial needs., • Research and help resolve more complicated customer situations while maintaining strong follow-through., • Coordinate with other experienced team members when customer needs require additional knowledge or perspective., • Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency processes for account management and follow-up., • Meet individual production and relationship-development goals while maintaining a customer-focused approach.QUALIFICATIONS:, • 3–5+ years of insurance experience strongly preferred., • Current property and casualty insurance license strongly preferred., • Life and health insurance licensing preferred., • Experience in commercial insurance, complex personal lines, insurance account management, underwriting, claims or agency operations is particularly valuable., • Experience conducting insurance reviews and identifying changing customer needs., • Confident making recommendations and helping customers move from questions to decisions., • Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to happen next., • Comfortable working through situations where the answer is not immediately obvious and using judgment to identify the next best step., • Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills., • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated follow-through., • Motivated by measurable goals and enjoys seeing individual effort contribute to agency growth., • Comfortable discussing additional insurance and financial needs when appropriate., • Proven ability to meet production or performance goals., • Able to work independently while collaborating with an experienced team., • Interested in continuing to build technical insurance knowledge and professional responsibility., • Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly valued; proficiency in additional languages is also a plus.
