Position Description: The Impact Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administration and logistics of various GFW Inc. programs, events, and team meetings. They are integral to our work of providing opportunities that connect, inspire, celebrate, and educate our members and business professionals in Allen County. This position requires a relationship-driven professional who is comfortable owning outcomes, working independently and cohesively with a team, and representing GFW Inc. in a highly visible community role. Ideal for an early-career candidate, this role is designed to grow in scope and offers mentorship, hands-on experiences, and meaningful opportunities for advancement over time. Key Responsibilities & Expectations: • Lead and/or support the Impact Team with planning and executing the assigned events and programs outlined below. Detailed descriptions can be found at the end of this posting., • Lead: Member Celebration Services, Business Excellence Awards, Executive Roundtables, & Leads Groups, • Support: GFW Inc. Signature Events, Allen County Leaders Luncheons, Business Advocacy, & Meet Me @ 5:05, • Assist with program logistics such as catering, décor, venue or vendor contracts, room layout & setup, technology, entertainment, merchandise, registration, billing, surveys, invoicing, check requests, etc., • Prepare materials before events, such as agendas, handouts, learning resources, name tags, and table signage, • Data entry/management of assigned program participants & event registrations, • Support Chief Growth Officer with personal calendar scheduling, Impact team meetings/retreats planning & scheduling, and other miscellaneous projects as requested, • Maintain and administer the GFW Inc. master calendar, ensuring accurate entry of organization-wide events, deadlines, and staff milestones; publish regular updates and modifications as needed, • Maintain organization of current GFW Inc. merchandise inventory; order new promotional items for upcoming events, • Attend and participate in GFW Inc. signature events, additional programs, ribbon cuttings, and networking socials as requested or when calendar allows as a visible and professional ambassador of the organization, • Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years of relevant event management or related job experience, • Demonstration of event planning expertise such as vendor & contract management, maintaining fiscal responsibility with budget management, creative problem-solving, innovative solutions, and thorough organization skills, • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including written, verbal, and public speaking, • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in group settings within a fast-paced environment, • Detail-oriented with the ability to create, follow, and improve systems while driving results, • Comfortability interacting and communicating with C-level executives and government officials, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams & Sharepoint) and CRM systems, • Inclusivity: We value the thoughts and contributions of all people and understand that inclusion is critical to sustainable economic development., • Collaboration: We value imagining and implementing our future collaboratively.
