Job Description Overview Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger Established in 2019, the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger (Blueprint) is a collective action and capacity-building organization that envisions a Colorado where everyone can access the food they choose, where they want it, and when they need it. As a fiscal sponsor of Blueprint, Trailhead provides administrative oversight for Blueprint staff. As an employee of Trailhead, the Digital Communications Coordinator will help to further the organization's mission, to build a regenerative organization that actively works to reverse historical inequities within public health and within our organization, and to operate in accordance with our organizational drivers of collaboration, capacity, and justice. This person will ensure that a focus on inclusivity, diversity, and equity is incorporated throughout all components of their work. Position Summary The Digital Communications Coordinator will support the Blueprint's mission through inclusive and accessible communications, with a primary focus on coordinating bilingual email marketing, social media, and website updates. This role delivers consistent, engaging digital communications that connects our network to resources, events, and advocacy opportunities while uplifting stories of real-life impact and community-led solutions across Colorado. Reporting to the Communications Director, this position will work with other staff and external partners. This position will work a hybrid-remote schedule with a statewide focus on Colorado communities. Responsibilities • Develop and produce bilingual content for Blueprint's email marketing, social media, and website, ensuring alignment with brand messaging, accessibility, and organizational goals., • Collaborate on the planning and execution of an annual editorial calendar for all digital communication channels., • Coordinate newsletters and email announcements, including content curation and copywriting, translation, setup, distribution, and email list management., • Maintain and update websites in English and Spanish, including pages, blog posts, events calendar, partner stories, and job board., • Coordinate social media, including content creation, translation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement., • Produce short, in-house videos for social media and other purposes in English and Spanish., • Capture and share partner and community stories by conducting interviews and creating bilingual video, written, and/or audio content for digital platforms., • Collaborate with other Blueprint team members and external partners on digital content, graphic design, and other communications-focused projects., • Support the development of Blueprint materials and publications, including but not limited to presentations, fact sheets, reports, toolkits, and forms., • Monitor and report on digital communications statistics and key performance indicators., • Stay informed of best practices and trends and implement strategies to enhance Blueprint's digital communications., • The successful candidate will be a self-starter who understands the value of collaboration and has the ability to communicate across the organization and with community partners., • At least 1-3 years' experience in digital communications or marketing for an organization, including coordination of email marketing, social media, and websites. Technical Proficiency • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, and WordPress, with an aptitude to learn new software as needed., • Experience managing social media accounts as well as using an email marketing service, website content management system like WordPress, and social media scheduling platform., • Comfortable using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite., • Experience producing short videos or reels with your phone or online platform., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure inclusive and accessible communications for all., • Flexibility in communication style to effectively engage internal and external collaborators., • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines., • Keen attention to detail; ensure adherence to brand and style guidelines., • Creativity and openness to feedback from internal and external collaborators., • Passion for improving community resilience and food systems through inclusive and accessible communications., • Understanding of the principles of food justice and food sovereignty preferred., • Experience working with diverse communities. Adaptability • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, emerging policy priorities, and evolving community needs.
