Job Description Remote Call Center – Benefits Verification Specialist (BVS) Location: 100% Remote (BYOD – Bring Your Own Device, No Equipment Provided) Start Date: October 15, 2025- February 2,2026. This is a Temporary position. The contract may be extended based on performance, but extension is not guaranteed. Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday Commitment: Must be available and committed to starting work 60 days from now if offered employment. Position Summary As a Benefits Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage and helping patients gain timely access to the treatments they need. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, remote environment. Key Responsibilities • Review patient insurance information and complete benefit verifications, • Triage incomplete cases and follow up as necessary, • Document insurance benefits, cost share, coverage restrictions, and provider options, • Assist with prior authorizations, claims appeals, and other access-related tasks, • High school diploma or GED required, • 2+ years of related experience OR a two-year degree in a relevant field, • Strong data entry and typing skills, • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively, • Desktop or Laptop with Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM (No Celeron, Pentium, Mac/iOS), • Minimum 256GB hard drive, Windows 10 or 11, • USB Gen 2 (or newer) port for wired headset, • Wired headset with microphone (USB Gen 2 or newer), • Video camera capability (required for training), • No Chromebooks, tablets, or iPads, • Wired internet connection with minimum 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload speed Company DescriptionThroughout the past 30 years plus, MMC, one of the most trusted names in workforce management services, has successfully delivered strategic solutions to large and small businesses in numerous industries.
