We are seeking board-certified Child / Adolescent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)s, with a clinical focus on pediatric psychiatry, who are actively licensed in Washington State and have at least one year mental health experience as a PMHNP. Our current demand for psychiatric evaluations/medication management services in-person is high and our volume of referrals continue to increase. Dayspring Behavioral Health PLLC is a thriving Group Psychotherapy Practice with a diverse team of multidisciplinary professionals. Requirements: Requirements of the Child / Adolescent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner: • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) provider, • Minimum 1 year experience in mental health setting as Child / Adolescent PMHNP, • Current and full Licensing in WA and in good standing with WA Board of Nursing, • Trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health concerns across the lifespan specifically clients 18 years old and under, • Clinical emphasis on clients 13 years of age and younger, • Prior provision of psychiatric medicine from a trauma-informed lens, • Holistic, relational, inclusive, strengths-based approach to patient care, • Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) programs and practices, • Experience with practice of telehealth/telemedicine, • In-person sessions, minimum 8-10 direct client care hours/week, • Timely and effective completion of mental health diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and required forms and documents related to psychiatric care and electronic record keeping, • Demonstration of full compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, accrediting, licensing, and procedural requirements related to professional practice and consistent with the highest standards of care, • Basic setup for provision of telemedicine (e.g., personal computer/laptop; stable internet access; private remote work space), • Assess and diagnose mental health and psychiatric concerns, • Prescribe and manage medications mindfully, starting, changing, and stopping medications at a pace each patient is comfortable with, • Screen and refer for physical health factors that may be complicating psychiatric diagnoses, • Coordinate care with other treatment professionals, including psychotherapists, dietitians, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, primary care physicians, and specialists., • Establish with the patient appropriate goals for treatment, complete treatment plan, and review progress towards these goals, • Provide services via telehealth/telemedicine, and in-person, • Protect patient and team member privacy, understand and follow principles and standards related to confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional code(s) of conduct This is a W-2 position. Minimum requirement: 8-10 direct client care hours/week.
