Job DescriptionSales Coordinator Location: South Austin, TX (Onsite, 5 Days/Week) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Hours: 40 Hours/Week Pay Range: $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience Travel: Local travel required; mileage reimbursed About the Role A growing landscape design and construction organization is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support its residential sales team. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, personable, and eager to grow in a sales-focused environment. As the Sales Coordinator, you will partner closely with the Sales Lead by attending client site visits, preparing proposals, gathering quotes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams. This role offers strong long-term growth potential, including the opportunity to build and manage your own sales portfolio over time. Key Responsibilities • Support the Sales Lead with administrative tasks, bid documentation, revisions, and change orders, • Attend site visits, capture detailed notes, and translate findings into scopes of work and client follow-ups, • Prepare client proposals, presentations, and training documents, • Assist with reviewing drawings/specifications and gathering material, equipment, and subcontractor quotes, • Participate in design work when applicable, • Coordinate communication between Sales, Operations, and Project Coordination teams, • Provide consistent and timely updates to clients throughout the sales cycle, • Help improve processes, workflow, and client experience, • Perform additional duties as required to support the sales teamCandidate Must-Haves, • 3+ years of sales experience, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, • Highly organized, professional, and personable, • Bachelor’s degree preferred, • Sales experience within construction, landscaping, or related industries strongly preferred, • Willingness to travel locally (mileage reimbursed), • Strong, consistent work historyPreferred Qualifications, • Experience in landscape construction, landscape maintenance, gardening, or plant procurement, • Exposure to drawings/specs, proposal development, or client presentations, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings, • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, • Experience in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and multitaskingSoft Skills, • Self-starter with strong initiative, • Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to build and maintain positive client and team relationships, • Strong attention to detail and follow-throughCompensation & Work Environment, • $25–$28/hour, depending on experience, • Opportunity for future commission based on performance, • Quick mileage reimbursement for local travel, • Onsite role in South Austin, • Additional travel to client meetings, job sites, and networking events
