Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals., • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services., • Salary plus commission/bonus, • Health benefits, • Profit sharing, • Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days), • Valuable experience, • Growth potential/Opportunity for advancement within my agency, • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred, • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred, • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams, • Self-motivated, • Ability to work in a team environment, • Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews, • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain) This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. By accepting this position, you are not guaranteed an agency position with State Farm Insurance Companies. As an agent team member, you will still need to go through the regular State Farm agent selection process when you are ready to pursue an agency opportunity. Qualifications: • Must have active insurance license in your state or must be willing to get licensed in 90 days, • Jobseekers need to have basic computer skills and have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), • Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required, training will be provided if your talents are a good match, • Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skillsAbout Company Our team is young, tight-knit, and driven — with a strong focus on communication and building relationships that make a real impact for our customers.
