Role Overview: We’re looking for a Sales Manager, Training Solutions, (Business Development Manager) to accelerate the growth of our training business across new and existing accounts. This high-impact role is perfect for an individual who thrives on identifying opportunities, driving pipeline, and influencing strategic deals. You’ll play a critical role in integrating training solutions into the sales cycle, positioning them as essential to customer success, product adoption, and long-term value. You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams to sell training as a strategic asset, increase attach rates, and directly contribute to customer retention and growth. Your ability to drive conversations with buyers, influence deal structures, and craft compelling training solutions will be key to your success. (Role Location) This position will be based in our Herndon, co-located with Sales and CS teams. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the office for the remaining days of the week. Key Responsibilities • Own and drive training revenue growth, acting as a key sales partner in go-to-market strategies, • Engage early in sales cycles to position training solutions as part of enterprise deals, • Drive training attach rates through persuasive messaging, enablement, and packaged offers, • Collaborate closely with Sales and Solution Consultants to build strategic training proposals, • Identify, qualify, and close training opportunities within existing and new accounts, • Partner with Customer Success to integrate training into long-term account planning, • Develop value frameworks that tie training to customer health, ROI, and success metrics, • Advocate for certification programs and skills tracking across enterprise customers, • Analyze and report on training pipeline, attach rates, and revenue contribution, • Work cross-functionally to align training solutions with evolving product offerings, • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, • 5+ years in sales, business development, or pre-sales—ideally within training, education, or tech/SaaS sector, • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales/revenue targets, • Strong understanding of enterprise software and technical training landscape, • Strong consultative selling skills, with experience positioning solutions around value and outcomes, • Ability to influence complex deal structures and pricing strategies, • Excellent presentation and negotiation skill, • Strong experience in solution selling and value-based conversations, • Excellence in stakeholder management across Sales, CS, and Support functions, • Deep understanding of enterprise customer success and adoption metricsDesired Expertise:, • Experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, or compliance industries, • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and certification programs, • Track record of developing successful training partnershipsNuix is an equal opportunity employer including for Veterans and People with Disabilities.
