Overview Our global Industry team provides clients with deep, actionable perspectives and differentiates our offerings by applying context and insights unique to the sectors we serve. You will report to our global financial services leader and collaborate across regions with market leaders, delivery and solution teams, sales, alliances, data/AI, cloud, strategy, and customer experience practices to shape and execute the global Insurance strategy spanning Property & Casualty, Life & Annuities, Specialty, and Reinsurance. We are seeking an accomplished global insurance executive with decades of experience leading complex transformation and compliance initiatives across P&C, Life & Annuities, Health, and/or Reinsurance clients. Your career includes extensive experience within consulting, preferably big 4 or similar, and spans underwriting, claims, policy administration, distribution, actuarial, finance, enterprise data, and analytics. You are adept at connecting strategy to execution and have a proven track record building and scaling industry practices, developing offerings and IP, and establishing C-suite relationships. What You'll Do • As the Senior Director and Global Insurance Industry Leader, define and own the global strategy and portfolio for the insurance practice and ensure consistent execution across regions., • Set the global Insurance strategy and investment plan, including portfolio priorities, capability build, hiring plans, and market plays across P&C, Life & Annuities, Health, and Reinsurance., • Develop solutions and govern the global offering portfolio., • Own the global go-to-market: shape value propositions, pricing strategies, commercial models, industry POVs, and sales enablement assets; ensure consistent regional execution and brand presence., • Lead strategic pursuits and originate/shape mega-deals; develop executive relationships with carriers and reinsurers, and serve as executive sponsor ensuring delivery quality, outcomes, and margin., • Drive thought leadership and market influence: publish industry insights, speak at conferences, and engage with analysts to position our insurance practice as a trusted advisor on modernization, AI, cloud, compliance, and operating model transformation., • Build and manage a robust global partner ecosystem with hyperscalers, ISVs, data providers, and insurtechs; co-develop joint solutions and routes to market., • Establish operating rhythms and metrics: pipeline governance, forecasting, win rates, utilization, delivery health, client satisfaction, and margin improvement., • Maintain a multi-million-dollar global pipeline and drive toward annual influenced revenue targets, ensuring balanced growth across regions and segments. What You'll Bring • Over 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across insurance sectors with global leadership responsibility, including practice-building and P&L or portfolio accountability., • Proven success leading a global or national practice defining industry strategy, launching scalable offerings/IP, and delivering complex, multi-country transformations., • Comfort on stage and media ready for interviews and panels for both internal and external audiences around trends in insurance, POVs, offerings and more., • Deep expertise in insurance operations and regulatory compliance (NAIC/state DOI, ORSA, RBC, PBR, IFRS 17, LDTI, Solvency II, NYDFS Cybersecurity, HIPAA where applicable) and enterprise data management., • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of originating and closing large, multi-year programs; adept at executive engagement and value-based storytelling., • Familiarity with core platforms and ecosystems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, Majesco), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern data/AI platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)., • Professional certifications might include CPCU, ARM, ARe, FLMI, ASA/FSA or ACAS/FCAS, CISA, CPA, and cloud certifications, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional excellence., • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills; ability to lead globally distributed teams and influence across functions and geographies., • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or similar; advanced degree preferred.
