Job DescriptionSalary: Graduated Commission starting at 25% - (average $1,800 - $2,000 weekly) Stepps Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operators to join our team! Were looking for candidates with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities. No Slip Seating Keep Your Assigned Truck! All drivers must have their own set of tools once assigned. Essential Functions • Operate Heavy Tow Trucks, Rollbacks, and Service Trucks efficiently and safely, • Respond to Florida Traffic Incident Management Program calls (RISC), • Work safely at accident scenes, often in traffic and all-weather conditions, • Cooperate closely with law enforcement and other first responders, • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers, • Operate GPS mapping devices, • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Qualifications • Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience, • Current DOT Medical Card, • Proven heavy-duty towing experience required, • Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse, • Clean driving record, • Able to pass background check and drug test Commissioned Pay • Graduated commission pay scale starting at 25% - Our drivers average $1,800 - $2,000 weekly., • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary-paid position.
