The Director, Revenue Management – Continuous Improvement & Innovation is a senior leadership role within the Revenue Management organization. This position is responsible for transforming how Revenue Management work is designed, executed, and scaled by embedding continuous improvement, innovation, and advanced analytics into daily operations. This role leads process improvement and innovation initiatives that accelerates decision-making, and drives measurable efficiency and revenue impact. The Director partners closely with Pricing, Yield Management, Revenue Engineering, IT, Finance, and external vendors to modernize workflows and develop AI-enabled solutions—including GenAI and agentic AI—as core Revenue Management capabilities. Leadership & Operating Model Transformation • Lead enterprise‑wide continuous improvement initiatives across Revenue Management, focusing on speed to insight, execution consistency, and scalable impact, • Redesign end‑to‑end RM workflows to reduce manual effort, eliminate waste, and elevate analytical and commercial judgment, • Own the innovation roadmap for Revenue Management processes, tools, and operating models, • Drive the development and deployment of GenAI, agentic AI, ML, and automation‑powered solutions that transform RM workflows, • Partner with Revenue Engineering and IT to translate business needs into technical design, development plans, and production‑ready solutions, • Work closely with Pricing, Yield Management, Finance, Commercial, and Technology teams to deliver cross‑functional solutions requiring alignment across data, systems, and processes, • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Revenue and Commercial leaders on process design, capability building, and innovation strategy, • Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors and technology partners to accelerate CI and innovation outcomes, • Ensure vendor solutions are outcome‑driven, scalable, cost‑effective, and integrated into core RM workflows, • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing Continuous Improvement & Innovation team, • Set clear expectations, coach leaders, and create strong development pathways aligned to evolving analytical and AI skill needs, • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training, • 7 years of progressive leadership experience, including leading managers and senior individual contributors, • 10 years of experience in revenue management, analytics, strategy, process improvement, or transformation roles within complex, data‑intensive environments, • Demonstrated success leading large, cross‑functional initiatives with measurable business impact, • Experience working closely with technology and engineering teams on advanced analytics, automation, or AI‑enabled solutions Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience • MBA or other advanced degree, • Prior experience within airlines, travel, transportation, e‑commerce, consulting, finance, or technology‑driven organizations, • Experience establishing or scaling a Continuous Improvement, Analytics, or Innovation Center of Excellence Skills, Licenses, and Certifications • Demonstrates the highest standards of personal ethics and integrity, • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, ML, GenAI, and agentic AI to redesign business processes and operating models, • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent), applied pragmatically, • Ability to guide complex initiatives through agile, iterative development cycles, • Ability to think strategically, negotiate skillfully, digest complex details, and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions, • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking ability, • Excellent project planning and organizational skills, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and follow-through, • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills, • Strong skills in stakeholder management and internal evangelism, as well as proven ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, • Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
