As a Behavior Technician, you’ll deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and related developmental differences. Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, and help build skills in communication, social interaction, and daily living. Responsibilities • Work effectively in school, home or clinic settings while adapting strategies to each environment, • Implement individualized ABA programs under the direction of the supervising BCBA, • Collect and record accurate session data using agency-approved software (e.g., Boost, HiRasmus), • Maintain professional communication with supervisors, families and team members, • Participate in required training sessions, team meetings and supervision hours, • Support the generalization of client skills across multiple settings and caregivers, • Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical and confidentiality standardsRequired Skills, • High School Diploma or equivalent required, • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, • Ability to work 10 - 40 hours / week, • Valid California Class C driver's license, valid insurance, and own transportation, • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, • Compassionate, patient, and eager to learn, • RBT certification preferred - training available for qualified candidates!, • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred Alongside is an Equal Opportunity Employer and qualified applicants will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, national origin, disability or veteran status or disability, as well as other classifications protected by applicable state or local laws.
