Job Description Position Overview (Front-Of-House) F’s Hawaiian Food is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Team Member who is dedicated to provide exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for every Guest. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality service. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is ideal to better serve our diverse Guest community. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow both professionally and within our Company. A restaurant Front-of-House is the first point of contact, responsible for greeting guests, setting the welcoming tone for the dining experience, coordinating with others, and ensuring smooth front-of-house flow. This position also involves handling payments (cash, card, digital), operating the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, taking orders, answering inquiries, bagging takeout, resolving complaints, and maintaining a clean station, acting as a key customer service link by ensuring smooth transactions and a positive dining experience, needing basic math, communication, and multi-tasking skills ensuring a positive first impression. Compensation is $16 - $19 per hour with opportunities for raises and bonuses with great performance. South Tulsa, OK Part-Time 15-35 hrs. per week This position would involve the skill to Cross-Train into multiple roles, including Front-Of-House and Back-Of-House, to support smooth restaurant operations. Ideal but Not Required Qualifications • Experience providing service excellence in hospitality or customer-facing roles, • Comfort moving confidently in a kitchen environment, • Skill and confidence using kitchen utensils, including knives, safely and effectively, • Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, • Prior experience in a restaurant, especially in food prep or line work Looking For: • Enthusiastic, • A genuine and sincere smile, • Helpful, • Personable, • Great with the public, • Has Integrity, • Ability to learn quickly, • Basic language, writing, and math proficiency skills, • Self-Motivated, • Team Player, • Conscientious, • Work ethic and professionalism, • Passion and creativity, • Leadership and management potential, • Wants to grow in their career Core/Key Responsibilities · Guest Experience/Guest interaction/Customer Service: Welcoming and greeting guests, present menus, answer questions or concerns, offer recommendations, provide a welcoming atmosphere, take food and drink orders, and handle payments. · Order management: Transmit orders accurately to the kitchen (dine-in or takeout) into the P.O.S system, noting any special requests, modification or dietary needs. · Payment Handling: Process cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments, make change, issue receipts, and balance the cash drawer. · Service delivery: Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction, and notifying guests when their order is ready. · Station Maintenance: Keep the cashier area and dining room organized and clean, stocked, and organized. · Problem resolution: Respond to and handle guest dissatisfactions or issues and involve management when necessary. · Teamwork/Collaboration: Assist other Team Members as needed, communicate with kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. · Order Fulfillment: Package takeout orders, bag merchandise, and ensure order accuracy before delivery. · Order Coordination: Monitor order tickets, prioritize dishes, and call out orders to the kitchen. · Quality Control: Inspect dishes for correct plating, garnishes, temperature, and visual appeal before they leave the kitchen. · Food Delivery: Deliver food quickly and accurately to correct tables, ensuring guests receive exactly what they ordered, and handling take-out orders. · Communication Hub: Relay special requests, allergies, or missing ingredients Essential skills · Guest Experience/Customer service: Maintain a friendly, attentive, and patient attitude. · Communication: Clearly communicate and actively listen to guests and the kitchen. · Multitasking: Juggle orders and tasks for multiple guests simultaneously. · Organization: Manage orders, and payment processing efficiently. · Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Respond to unexpected situations, changes in a fast-paced environment and ability to perform repetitive motions and carry heavy trays. · Speed and Stamina: Ability to work quickly and be on your feet for long periods in a high-pressure setting and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. · Attention to Detail: Meticulous in checking orders and presentation. To maintain smooth, efficient food flow, ensuring high-quality dishes reach guests promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience.
