Role / Job Description The Sales Representative, based out of our Clayton, NC Office, will meet with homeowners, listen to their needs, educate them on product options, and help them make confident decisions about improving their homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people, takes pride in representing a strong brand, and wants to be part of a team that wins the right way. Responsibilities include: • Meeting with homeowners for scheduled appointments, • Learning and presenting Southern Exposure products and services, • Helping customers understand options, pricing, value, and project scope, • Building trust through professionalism, follow-up, and honest communication, • Working closely with operations, production, office staff, and leadership, • Maintaining organized notes, customer updates, and sales activity, • Representing Southern Exposure with integrity in the home and in the community, • Contributing to a positive, competitive, team-first sales culture, • Protecting the customer experience from first appointment through project handoff At Southern Exposure, sales and production are connected. Sales creates the opportunity, but production earns the reputation. To the customer, every department is Southern Exposure, so communication and follow-through matter. Qualifications: The right candidate should have • Strong communication and people skills, • High energy and a positive attitude, • A competitive mindset without ego, • Humble confidence, • Coachability and willingness to learn, • Strong follow-up and organizational skills, • Integrity and personal accountability, • Ability to build trust with homeowners, • Comfort working in a performance-based environment, • Desire to be part of a growing company and strong culture Preferred but not required: • Previous sales experience, • Home improvement, construction, remodeling, window, door, deck, or sunroom experience, • Experience with in-home consultations, • Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems We are willing to train the right person.
