Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Specialist to support the management, organization, and reporting of critical information and data. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into structured, accurate, and actionable insights that support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements. The Information Specialist will be responsible for maintaining organized data systems, ensuring data integrity, and producing high-quality reports, including funding reports, performance summaries, and program impact documentation. This position requires someone who can not only manage information effectively but also communicate it clearly through well-structured reports and visuals. Key Responsibilities • Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency, • Transform raw data into clear, structured, and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders, • Collaborate with teams across departments to gather, verify, and consolidate information, • Support external reporting requirements, including grant and compliance-related deliverables, • Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, reporting processes, and organizational systems, • Prepare and deliver funding reports, program reports, and performance summaries for internal stakeholders and external partners, • Develop and improve reporting templates, workflows, and standard operating procedures Qualifications & Skills Required: · Bachelor’s degree in information management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) or 1-3 years of experience in data management, reporting, or a similar role · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) · Experience creating reports or presentations from raw data · Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy · Strong written communication skills · Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Preferred: · Familiarity with database systems or CRM tools · Experience with document management systems or knowledge management platforms · Knowledge of funding or compliance reporting requirements Personal Attributes: · Naturally organized and proactive - spots issues before they become problems · Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly · Aligned with NOLA Education's mission to engage and inspire learners About NOLA Education NOLA Education is driven by its mission to "engage and inspire learners" through innovative educational solutions.
