Job DescriptionCompliance & Quality Assurance SpecialistJob Type: Temp-to-Hire Salary: $60,000 annually (upon permanent placement) Location: Yonkers, NY | On-site (Monday-Friday, Full-time) Job OverviewMadison Approach Staffing is recruiting for a Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist for our client, a human services organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring organizational compliance and adherence to standards of care across all programs. The position manages and reviews incidents, conducts internal investigations, and monitors program alignment with regulatory requirements including OCFS, NYSED, and oversight agency standards. The ideal candidate works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, possesses strong analytical skills, and takes a proactive approach to promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with transition to permanent employment and comprehensive benefits package. Key ResponsibilitiesIncident Management & Investigations • Monitor incident reports daily to ensure appropriate management and timely response, • Conduct internal incident investigations with thoroughness and objectivity, • Manage internal and external incident reporting and management systems, • Provide direct assistance to programs managing incidents in line with relevant rules and regulations, • Liaise with programs and oversight agencies to facilitate incident review, • Prepare for monthly Incident Review Committee meetingsQuality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring, • Coordinate completion and timely submission of corrective action plans and performance improvement plans, • Assist with chart and record reviews for compliance and quality improvement purposes, • Review case records (manual and electronic) for compliance with Medicaid standards and billing requirements, • Lead ongoing physical plant inspections, health hazard reviews, and safety assessments, • Run and write reports on incident trends and program compliance with performance improvement plansTraining, Committees & Leadership Support, • Provide training on incident reporting and management as needed, • Serve on committees relevant to quality assurance and compliance, • Facilitate continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout organization, • Contribute to agency accreditation and renewal processes, • Respond to requests from leadership in timely and professional manner, • Ensure adherence to agency mission, policies, core values, and commitments including Sanctuary modelRequired Skills & Experience, • Education: Associate degree in Social Science or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred, • Regulatory Experience: OCFS (Office of Children and Family Services) or NYSED experience required, • Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of compliance and incident management in human services field, • Data Analysis: Ability to gather, read, and analyze data with strong attention to detail, • Writing Skills: Effective writing skills in English with ability to produce clear reports and documentation, • Technology: Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), • EHR Systems: Adeptness to learn new software and electronic health records systems, • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, • Mobile Technology: Ability to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for agency programs, • Full-time position: Monday-Friday (standard business hours), • On-site in Yonkers, NY, • Temp-to-hire opportunity with transition to permanent employmentBenefits Upon Permanent Placement:, • Generous PTO: 4 weeks vacation, floating holidays, holidays, personal and sick time, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • 401(k) with employer contributions, • Tuition reimbursement, • Flex Spending Accounts, • Employer-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance, • Professional development opportunitiesPhysical Requirements:, • Ability to ambulate, sit, stand, see, speak, and climb stairs, • Ability to carry up to 30 lbs, • Work environment with no physical risk or hazardous conditionsTo Apply: Please submit your resume to Madison Approach Staffing.
