Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will handle customer inquiries and purchase orders with precision while fostering strong relationships through exceptional service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the electrical test and measuring instruments industry. Responsibilities: β’ Process customer purchase orders accurately and ensure timely entry into the companyβs system., β’ Coordinate with various internal teams, including sales, procurement, and logistics, to guarantee order fulfillment and prompt delivery., β’ Address and resolve customer concerns related to order discrepancies, returns, and shipping delays with professionalism., β’ Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details in company databases., β’ Acquire and apply technical knowledge of electrical test and measuring instruments to assist customers effectively., β’ Recommend process improvements to streamline order management and enhance customer satisfaction., β’ Handle email correspondence and multi-browser systems to manage customer accounts and inquiries efficiently., β’ Support connectivity-related issues and troubleshoot customer concerns regarding technical products., β’ Utilize tools such as QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 to manage and report customer data accurately., β’ Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while adhering to company standards., β’ High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred., β’ Proven experience in customer service, ideally within the technical or engineering sector., β’ Familiarity with purchase order systems and customer relationship management tools., β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams., β’ Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment., β’ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills., β’ Basic understanding of electrical test and measuring instruments or the willingness to learn technical product information., β’ Proficiency with software tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, and customer account management platforms.
