Job DescriptionJob Title: Manufacturing Carpenter Job Description We are seeking dedicated manufacturing carpenters to join our facility that specializes in building and repairing modular trailers. The ideal candidate will be proficient with hand tools, capable of reading a tape measure, and operating various equipment. Experience in basic electrical work, carpentry, and plumbing is preferred. Responsibilities • Perform carpentry repairs on modular trailers., • Clean and maintain work areas., • Install and service components such as roofing, windows, and siding., • Inspect and wash walls and other surfaces., • Use hand and power tools effectively., • Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in carpentry and use of hand tools., • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure., • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems., • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Possession of basic hand tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, and wrench set., • Some knowledge of computers., • Experience in welding is a plus., • Ability to operate a floor buffer.Work Environment Work will take place both inside the shop and outside in the yard, with conditions varying according to weather. The role also involves working inside trailers, which may not be air-conditioned. The dress code includes steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt, with glasses and gloves provided by the company. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
