Job Description Minaret Academy is a private school on a mission to create a world-class Montessori program that prioritizes the social and emotional development of our children. Position Overview: We are looking for passionate, dedicated Montessori teachers who are committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children (ages 3-6). The ideal candidate will bring a love for teaching, a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, and a deep desire to help children build the foundation for a lifetime of learning and become true "global citizens". As part of our team, you will work alongside a group of caring educators to design and implement a cosmic curriculum that focuses on each childβs social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Together, we will nurture a collaborative atmosphere that empowers both children and educators to thrive. Key Responsibilities: β’ Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging Montessori environment for children ages 3-6., β’ Develop individualized and group lesson plans based on Montessori principles and the social-emotional needs of the children., β’ Observe, assess, and document childrenβs progress to ensure their holistic development., β’ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where children feel valued and supported., β’ Collaborate with fellow educators to share ideas, insights, and best practices., β’ Communicate effectively with parents about their childβs progress and development., β’ Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) preferred., β’ Previous experience teaching in a licensed Montessori school., β’ A degree in education is preferred., β’ Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy., β’ Ability to work collaboratively within a team of passionate and caring educators., β’ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset., β’ A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude toward children., β’ Proficiency in technology to enhance classroom learning., β’ Passion for reading and integrating a rich, diverse curriculum that fosters a love of literature., β’ 401(k), β’ Dental insurance, β’ Employee discount, β’ Health insurance, β’ Paid time off, β’ Professional development assistance, β’ 8 hour shift, β’ Monday to Friday, β’ No weekends
