Job Description * These openings will be a minimum of a two year contract* Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst, HRIS x2 openings One opening providing functional support to Talent Acquisition group and the other is functional support for core HCM Job Description The Senior Systems Analyst, HRIS serves as a strategic and technical lead for enterprise HR systems, with a focus on optimizing HR technology, data, and processes across the organization. This role owns complex system configuration, integrations, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives spanning HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll. The Senior Systems Analyst leads end-to-end system design and enhancement efforts, drives continuous improvement, and acts as a subject matter expert for key HRIS platforms. Responsibilities • Serve as a subject matter expert for one or more HRIS functional areas and platforms, including Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 (Core HR and Benefits), Infinite BrassRing (Recruiting), and Cornerstone OnDemand (Performance and Compensation)., • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of complex HRIS solutions that support end-to-end HR processes from hire to retire., • Evaluate existing and new system capabilities, and recommend enhancements that align HR technology with evolving business needs., • Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, HR processes, and data governance practices to increase accuracy, efficiency, and user adoption., • Design, build, and maintain advanced system configurations, including workflows, eligibility rules, security structures, and system integrations., • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system, data, and interface issues, ensuring timely and sustainable fixes., • Partner closely with IT to design, build, test, and monitor system interfaces and integrations with related enterprise systems such as Finance and Payroll., • Own and manage HRIS projects, including new implementations, module rollouts, system upgrades, acquisitions, and platform expansions., • Lead the full testing lifecycle for system changes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and document results., • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for configuration, development, and reporting., • Deliver advanced reporting, analytics, and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making across HR and the business., • Establish and maintain reporting standards, data quality controls, and governance processes to ensure accurate and reliable HR data., • Provide functional leadership and mentoring to HRIS analysts, sharing best practices and guiding their development., • Support and maintain PeopleSoft security roles, permission lists, workflow configurations, and reporting structures., • Partner with Talent Acquisition to optimize recruiting workflows in BrassRing and ensure efficient, compliant hiring processes., • Provide technical support for PeopleSoft Benefits administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization., • Manage vendor relationships for assigned HRIS platforms, including issue escalation, enhancement requests, and roadmap discussions., • Champion change control, quality processes, quality auditing, and continuous improvement practices within the HRIS function., • Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll to align system solutions with business strategies and priorities., • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience., • 5–10+ years of progressive HRIS experience with increasing levels of responsibility., • Deep expertise in at least one major HRIS platform such as PeopleSoft, BrassRing, or Cornerstone., • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes, including the full hire-to-retire lifecycle., • Advanced experience in HRIS configuration, integration, and troubleshooting across multiple modules and functions., • Demonstrated experience translating business needs into system solutions, functional designs, and technical specifications., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and data issues., • Advanced reporting and data governance experience, including establishing standards and data quality controls., • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 and data analysis tools for reporting and analytics., • Ability to read and write SQL, Visual Basic, and PeopleCode for reporting, troubleshooting, and system enhancements., • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels., • Experience leading HRIS implementations, module rollouts, or large-scale system enhancements., • Hands-on experience with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 Core HR and Benefits configuration and support., • Experience with Infinite BrassRing for recruiting workflows and optimization., • Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand for performance management and compensation processes., • Experience in quality systems, quality auditing, and process improvement methodologies., • Ability to mentor and provide functional leadership to HRIS analysts and other team members., • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll on integrated solutions. This role operates in a professional, technology-driven environment that relies heavily on enterprise HR platforms and data analysis tools. You will work closely with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and external HRIS vendors to design and support integrated solutions. The position involves extensive use of Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2, Infinite BrassRing, Cornerstone OnDemand, Microsoft O365, SQL, Visual Basic, and PeopleCode. Work typically takes place in an office or hybrid setting with regular collaboration, project work, and structured change control and quality processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
