Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/04/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) – Weekends required Job Responsibilities: • Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in a large academic medical center setting., • Manage ventilator support, including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation., • Administer respiratory medications including bronchodilators, inhaled steroids, and emergency medications such as racemic epinephrine and nitric oxide., • Perform airway management procedures such as extubation, oral/nasal suctioning, and tracheostomy care., • Utilize high flow nasal cannula, trach collars, and nebulizer therapies., • Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and adjust treatment accordingly., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Med/Surg, PCU, and Emergency Department units., • Use aerosol delivery systems including MDI, T-piece, and aerosol masks/trach setups., • Float to other locations within the system may be required based on staffing needs.Required Skills & Experience:, • Active Ohio Respiratory Care Professional license, • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, • Basic Life Support (BLS), • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – preferred, • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, • Experience with adult critical care and emergency department patients – preferred, • Ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and perform ventilator weaning Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
