WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Proven Experience 7+ years in building envelope consulting, forensic assessment, or related construction/engineering roles, with a track record of managing projects from investigation through repair. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of roofing, waterproofing, cladding, insulation, and related systems; ability to perform inspections, write reports, and guide clients through technical solutions. Business Development Mindset Experience developing client relationships, growing a book of business, and representing a firm in the local market. HOA boards, attorneys, community managers, and contractors should be familiar territory for you. Leadership Ability Demonstrated success mentoring staff, leading teams, and building trust with clients and colleagues. Communication Skills Able to translate complex technical findings into clear, client-friendly language; strong presentation and client-facing presence. Credentials A Florida PE license is strongly preferred. SE licensure, deposition/testimony experience, or equivalent forensic expertise are considered a plus. Education Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements This role will begin as remote-first (from your home office) with frequent site visits and eventual transition to a physical branch office. You should be comfortable with: • Traveling locally/regionally to job sites, • Performing site inspections in various weather conditions, • Navigating ladders, scaffolding, and similar access points, • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
