Exciting Opportunity for Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurses!\n\n- Join a dynamic team in the Med/Surg Neurology unit!\n- Enjoy the thrill of working night shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).\n- Required Experience: \n - 2 years as a Registered Nurse with Med/Surg Neuro specialization.\n - Previous charge experience is required.\n- Travel experience is a must — adventure awaits!\n- Charting System: Experience with Epic preferred.\n- Teaching hospital experience is a plus, but community hospital experience is required.\n \nCertifications:\n- BLS (Basic Life Support)\n- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)\n- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.\n\nKey Skills:\n- Proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy.\n- Accessing/managing ports and blood product administration.\n- Central line care and management.\n- Chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac) and non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC).\n- Neurological skillset, including CVA, pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.\n- Experience in cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.\n\nWork Environment:\n- Patient ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:5, Weekends 1:5.\n- Float between units as required.\n- 24 beds in the unit with a daily census of 22.\n- Interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.\n\nAdditional Details:\n- Orientation hours: 24.\n- Weekend shifts: flexible; must work some weekends.\n- Self-scheduling available.\n- Scrub color: Navy.\n \nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):\n- At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.\n- Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way.\n- Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
