Prior experience working in a church or community-based setting is highly desirable., • Armed Security Experience: Must have 2-3 years consecutive experience as an unarmed security officer, hold an active/valid D license, and must not have more than a 1 year gap since your last assignment., • Customer Service Experience: Must have 1-2 years experience in a customer service environment serving the public., • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with church staff, members, and visitors., • Threat Identification: Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity or potential threats and respond appropriately., • Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the property or assigned stations to ensure a safe and secure environment by foot or golf cart., • Access Control: Monitor and manage access to church facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter designated areas., • Incident Response: Superior Skills in handling most Crisis and Emergency Situations. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing support to minimize risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property., • Team Support: Work collaboratively with the Site Lead and other security officers to maintain consistent coverage and effective communication. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues, • Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report any incidents or issues to the Site Lead in a timely manner. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. Depending on your assignment, you will be tasked with the following duties: • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence, • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property, • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area, • Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations, • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts, • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions, • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation, • Provide assistance to people in need, • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences Security Officer licensed by the State of Florida.
