Job DescriptionDescription: Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools. Position Reports To: Retail Sales Manager Purpose of Position: This role balances sales support, showroom readiness, and customer service. The Assistant Sales Manager ensures the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, and merchandised to maximize conversion opportunities while actively assisting with customer engagement, private label conversion, and sales execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales, margin, and private label goals., • Maintain showroom standards by keeping all displays, shelves, and end caps fully stocked and well-merchandised., • Track inventory flow between the warehouse/back stock and the showroom to avoid out-of-stocks., • Refresh promotional signage and ensure private label items are prominently featured., • Assist with front-of-house customer engagement: greeting, product demos, upselling, and cross-selling., • Educate customers on private label product advantages, including cost-per-use savings., • Monitor daily walk-in business and support closing sales on the floor., • Train and coach team members on merchandising standards and sales support tasks., • Report stock discrepancies, low inventory levels, or showroom gaps to the Sales Manager promptly., • Contribute to weekly sales reports and action plans., • Two (2) Medical Plans, with GrowGeneration contributing 80% to employee only coverage and 50% to employee + dependent(s) coverage, • Dental and Vision Plan, • Short & Long-Term Disability, • Company paid Life and AD&D policy, • Voluntary Life and AD&D, • Accident and Critical Illness, • At least ten (10) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per anniversary year, • Up to ten (10) paid holidays, • Up to six (6) days of Paid Sick Leave, subject to state and local laws, • Retirement Savings Plan (401k) Criminal background checks are part of the GrowGeneration hiring process.
