Job Description Pay: $16.00 per hour LOD Staffing has openings for Outdoor Festival Parking Attendant Position Overview The Outdoor Festival Parking Attendant is responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, managing parking flow, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient parking experience for guests attending outdoor events and festivals. This role requires strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-traffic environments while delivering excellent customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Direct incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic using hand signals, radios, and/or signage, • Guide guests to designated parking areas and assist with efficient space utilization, • Monitor parking lots to ensure compliance with event policies and safety procedures, • Provide directions, event information, and general assistance to guests, • Maintain clear access lanes for emergency vehicles and staff operations, • Coordinate with supervisors, security, and event staff to manage traffic flow and resolve issues, • Identify and report safety hazards, accidents, or unauthorized activity immediately, • Assist with setup and breakdown of parking areas, cones, barricades, and signage, • Enforce parking guidelines, including restricted areas and ADA accessibility compliance, • Remain alert and responsive in high-volume, fast-paced environments Minimum Qualifications • Prior experience in parking, traffic control, event staffing, or customer service preferred, • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, and supervisors, • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness, • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts, • Must be able to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment • Primarily outdoors at festivals, concerts, sporting events, and large-scale gatherings, • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and direct sunlight, • Fast-paced, high-traffic environment with large crowds (thousands of attendees), • May involve working near moving vehicles and heavy pedestrian traffic, • Flexible scheduling required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, • Noise levels may be high due to crowds, music, and event activity Physical and Mental Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–12+ hours per shift), • Frequent use of arms for signaling and directing traffic, • Ability to lift, carry, push, or move up to 25–50 pounds (cones, barricades, signage), • Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures for long durations, • Requires constant alertness, quick reaction time, and strong visual awareness, • Ability to navigate uneven terrain, gravel lots, and large open areas, • Capable of maintaining energy and focus in a high-stress, fast-paced environmentCompany DescriptionLabor On Demand, Inc. d.b.a.
