The RoleGreat Gray is looking to add a UX Designer on our Product Team. This individual will drive innovative UX solutions that transform complex financial interactions into intuitive, user-friendly experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet both user needs and business objectives. LocationThis position will Work from our Boston, MA office. Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite, and 1 day remote. Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Responsibilities · Lead End-to-End UX: Own the full user experience process for our core products-from ideation and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. · Design & Prototype: Create information architectures, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder alignment.· User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand advisor, recordkeeper, and other personas’ needs, pain points behaviors and workflows. · Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions. · Communicate Design Decisions: Present research findings and design rationale to stakeholders at all levels, crafting compelling narratives that connect user needs to business value.· Implementation Partnership: Work closely with engineering through detailed specifications and ongoing support to ensure design quality through production.· Design Systems: Establish and maintain design patterns, UI components, and UX and accessibility standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products. · Complete other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience· Bachelor’s degree in design or related field (Master’s degree a plus).· 5+ years of professional UX/UI design background with minimum 2 years working on digital experiences.· Previous experience in 0-1 products and/or fintech preferred but not required. · Proven track record of effective collaboration with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to ship user-centered design solutions.· Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools. · Experience conducting moderated usability testing and translating research insights.· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.· Comfortable navigating ambiguity.· Your standards reflect our core values: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results-Driven, Collaborative. Tech StackOur current tech stack is a blend of existing and next-gen tools/languages, and like our company itself, our software is always evolving. · Frontend: Angular, React· Backend: C# .NET· Data Layer: MSSQL, Python, Postgres, Databricks· Infrastructure: Azure cloud· Tooling: Cypress, Docker, GitHub, Cursor, SonarQube Base Pay Range*$125,000-$155,000*This base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The pay range displayed above is the base pay compensation range that Great Gray expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, candidate’s prior education and relevant work experience and training as well as position location and local market demands.
