We’re seeking a Civil Engineer / Field Engineer to support municipal and infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines — from water and wastewater systems to transportation, utilities, and environmental restoration. In this role, you’ll be a key on-the-ground contributor ensuring projects are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. What You’ll Do • Serve as an on-site engineering representative for public infrastructure projects., • Conduct site visits, inspections, and project documentation, including materials, labor, and compliance records., • Participate in client and contractor meetings, providing technical insight and ensuring alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements., • Perform engineering analyses, field evaluations, and environmental documentation, using the latest tools and software., • Review contractor test results, payment applications, and permit compliance documentation., • Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on track and within scope., • Support business development efforts, identifying opportunities and assisting with proposal preparation. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)., • 2 plus years of relevant field or engineering experience, ideally with underground pipelines, water/wastewater systems, or infrastructure construction., • Working knowledge of construction inspection practices, technical reporting, and QA/QC procedures., • Proficiency with digital tools used in field engineering and project tracking (tablets, Microsoft Office, CAD a plus)., • Excellent communication skills — able to engage clients, write reports, and collaborate effectively across teams., • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle., • OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification required., • PE or CCM certification preferred; EITs encouraged to apply., • Bilingual skills are a plus.
