Watercrest Senior Living is looking for a Sales Specialist to join our joining team to support, train and educate our communities on creating a meaningful, memorable, and unique experience starting at the first point of connection. This position is a remote travel role and must be able to do heavy travel to our communities through the states of FL, SC, and VA. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Specialist is a trusted advisor to community sales teams, potential residents and their families, along with the community at large, and establishes a working rapport with onsite Sales/Marketing and Leadership staff. The Regional Sales Specialist focuses his/her attention on implementing sales and marketing growth strategies as developed by the Vice President of Sales Operations, assisting communities to achieve and exceed budgeted census, and reports goals, results, and routine feedback about status of community and sales team of assigned communities to Regional Director of Operations and/or Vice President of Sales Operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Servant Leadership directs all aspects of decision making, and the Regional Sales Specialist respects and adheres to sales calls, reporting, information submittal, and other potential required deadlines as set forth by the company, • Assist with onsite sales support in such instances where positions are temporarily open or physically unfilled, or otherwise may require physical presence in the community, • When supporting within communities, responsible for handling incoming inquiry calls, community tours, and establishing detailed follow up steps with prospects and families, including detailed entry into customer relationship manager program, • Evaluate that the assigned communities’ sales leaders maintain current, accurate and appropriate reports regarding census, sales, and marketing efforts, • Assist communities with general sales and marketing support questions, • Assist communities as needed with planning, developing and coaching through execution active 12-month sales and marketing plans, and monthly reviews of these plans, • Assist communities with providing expertise on analysis and advisement for local advertising and event efforts that assure compliance with company protocol, assist with submitting proper requests for company-produced advertisement copy, • Assist with completion(as necessary)and monitoring of competitive analyses, • Assist communities with planning and coaching related to professional outreach efforts, including medical and business professionals, • Assist communities with planning and hosting events for prospects and referral sources, • Possesses and maintains a strong knowledge of the community’s services, programs, team member’s backgrounds, talents and offerings, • Responsible for clear and frequent communication with community sales teams and home office leadership, • Creates positive relations with regional and community teams through recognition of excellent performance and promotion of teamwork, • Assist with sales training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs for all associates regarding sales as requested, • Other duties pertaining to the Regional Sales Specialist role as required, • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, guests, vendors, referral sources, and outside contacts’, • Basic computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and entering complete and detailed data into computer Customer Relationship Management program, and maintaining sales and marketing plan and competitive analysis spreadsheets, • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; problem-solving, conflict management, budgeting., • Neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance, • Organizational skills, • Ability to effectively lead and motivate sales teams, • Knowledge of current Federal and State laws pertaining to IL, AL,MC communities, • Able to make independent decisions, • Must be able to communicate in a warm, friendly and caring manner, • Must be familiar with and adhere to guidelines related to the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), • Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens, • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, • Travel as required, including overnight and multiple days, • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Five(5) years in the senior living environment; minimum three to five(3-5) years in senior living sales, • Proven senior living sales and referral track record, • Sales Minded, • Visionary, • Execute Strategy The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: • Able to stand or walk 75% of the day, • Able to drive to outside sales calls or potential resident assessments, • Able to concentrate with frequent interruptions, • Able to work under stress and in emergency situations, • Able to work under conditions that require sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping, • Able to talk and hear effectively in order to convey instructions and information to residents and team members, • Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds, • Ability to travel interstate destinations
