Job Description Classification: Warehouse Specialist, Non-Exempt Status: Full-Time Location: Houston, Texas Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (occasional overtime as needed) Reports To: Operations Manager Benefits: Eligible - Full-Time Employee POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of materials in the Christy Catalytics (CATCO) Houston warehouse. This role supports regional office and distribution center operations and works closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure timely and accurate material movement. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment while following established procedures, documentation standards, and safety practices. The Warehouse Associate also plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Receive, ship, and stage materials, including packaging, labeling, and verification against purchase orders, pick lists, and related documentation. Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging to meet company and customer requirements. Organize pallets within trucks, including bracing and padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Complete all required paperwork and system transactions accurately for each shipment and receipt. Convert materials from original packaging to Christy-standard packaging to meet presentation and quality standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, stretch wrapping machines, banders, rolling stairs, hoppers, laser printers, work phones (business use only), and laptop computers. Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sweeping, and organizing materials to maintain a safe and orderly warehouse. Communicate effectively with Operations, Customer Service Representatives, logistics partners, and customers to support on-time and accurate shipments and receipts. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned to support the Houston operation and the broader Christy Catalytics business. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Prior warehouse experience preferred., • Forklift experience required., • Shipping and receiving experience preferred., • Basic math skills., • Fluency in English, both verbal and written., • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing lists., • Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems., • Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers., • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail., • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds., • Prolonged physical activity, including standing for extended periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward or confined positions., • Ability to work in varying weather conditions., • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in an industrial environment.
