Job Description Job Title: Warehouse & Logistics AssociateRevision Date: 12/23/2025Department: MidlandJob Zone: SalaryReports to: Operations ManagerFLSA: Non ExemptHours per week: 40 hoursOvertime & Weekends required: As needed POSITION SUMMARY:The Warehouse & Logistics Associate is responsible for the day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling functions that support Midland operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials, equipment, and products are handled, stored, and distributed safely and efficiently. While the primary focus is warehouse operations, the employee may occasionally assist with local deliveries and provide basic sales or customer support when requested. The goal of this position is to maintain consistent workflow, accuracy in inventory, and reliable communication between operations and customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock, materials, and equipment., • Accurately verify packing slips, purchase orders, and material documentation., • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment according to specifications., • Load and unload freight safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes as required., • Label, stage, and organize products within warehouse storage areas., • Conduct cycle counts and assist with quarterly and annual inventory audits., • Maintain accurate records of material movement using company systems., • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with the company policy., • Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries., • Keep the warehouse, loading dock, and yard organized and free of safety hazards., • Maintain all warehouse tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working conditions and report maintenance needs promptly., • Support incoming and outgoing customer shipments, ensuring documentation and packaging meet standards., • Assist with restocking shelves, labeling, and general warehouse upkeep., • Follow all Company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.Delivery & Customer Support:, • Perform local deliveries and pickups as assigned, ensuring professionalism and safe operation of company vehicles., • Assist in loading and securing materials for transport., • Occasionally interact with customers during deliveries to confirm receipt and satisfaction.Administrative & Support Duties:, • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs., • Assist with basic data entry or order processing in JDE or equivalent system., • Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager regarding material shortages, shipment delays, or discrepancies., • Support other departments with material movement or special projects when needed.Sales Support (Occasional):, • May assist with order follow-up or product inquiries at the direction of the Operations Manager., • Participate in customer site visits when required to support product delivery or logistics coordination.SKILL REQUIREMENTS:, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record., • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation., • Good communication skills, written and verbal., • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems (JDE experience preferred)., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor safely., • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. QUALIFICATIONS:, • Minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing Warehouse experience., • Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task., • Good computer skills, including JDE, Microsoft Office including Excel and Word., • Good understanding of Warehouse and Inventory Control processes/procedures., • Solid analytical and planning skills. · Proficient in problem analysis and resolution., • Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience., • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check., • Professionalism, flexibility, critical thought process and creativity, • Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow., • Regular and reliable attendance, • Follow all safety policies and procedures. WORK ENVIRONMENT:, • The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment., • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:, • Sitting, climbing, or standing as needed., • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day., • Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Company.
