Title: Automation Technician Duration: 06 months contract Location: Pearl River, NY 10965 Shift: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (approximately 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) • Occasional off hours or weekend support may be required on an infrequent basis Position Summary • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and machinery used in industrial or production environments, • Support site automation systems including SCADA systems, Process Control Systems, and Building Management Systems, • Ensure optimal equipment performance through diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system enhancements Responsibilities • Install, configure, and calibrate automated equipment and control systems, • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation systems, • Program and modify PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), • Support and maintain site automation systems including SCADA systems, Process Control Systems (e.g., DeltaV or similar), and Building Management Systems (Client), • Assist with design, development, testing, and implementation of system improvements and enhancements, • Support integration of new automation systems as business needs evolve, • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system reliability, performance, and operational excellence, • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, compliance, validation, and change control, • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP standards, and operational procedures, • Train staff and support onboarding through hands-on learning, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer Qualifications Education: • Associate degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field required Experience: • 2–4 years of hands on experience in automation, controls, or industrial engineering roles, • Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated environment strongly preferred, • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, maintaining, or troubleshooting automation systems Skills: • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation software, • Working knowledge of industrial networks, servers, historians, and Process Control Systems, • Experience with Allen Bradley, Emerson, Siemens, or similar platforms preferred, • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals, • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, • Familiarity with safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and diagnostic tools, • Comfortable working under GMP and compliance expectations Why Work With Us?
