Job DescriptionJob Title: WelderJob Description Join our dynamic welding team as we manufacture and market high-quality auto parts, including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, and more. With a proud history since 1939 and expansion to 23 locations, this is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader. Responsibilities • Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials., • Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accurate construction., • Prepare materials for welding, ensuring quality and precision., • Execute welding tasks in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead., • Maintain the quality and strength of welds, adhering to safety standards and regulations., • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques., • Experience with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints., • Capable of passing a math test involving basic arithmetic and measurements., • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and welding safety standards., • Experience with welding machines and tools. Work Environment Work in a large, clean, and well-organized warehouse spanning 256,000 square feet. Safety is a top priority, and welders are provided their own booths equipped with a snorkel system for debris management. The facility is equipped with all necessary PPE, although candidates must bring their own welding helmet and gloves. Flexible shifts are available, with a 10% pay differential for second-shift work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
