Job Description Position: Welder / Fabricator Location: Oakland, CA Pay: $32–$36 per hour (DOE) Hours: 40–50 hours per week | Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays Requirements: • Up-to-date welding certificates (up to 4G), • OSHA 10 or higher certification (required), • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, • Active driver’s license Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Oakland, CA. You will be responsible for setting up welding machines and equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing a variety of welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing operations. You will also inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality, and may fabricate custom parts as needed. Responsibilities: • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products, • Install and repair equipment and components, • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications, • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance, • Operate additional machinery such as forklifts (as needed), • 2–3 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing work, • Proficiency with welding tools, techniques, and procedures, • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and follow verbal instructions, • Physically capable of handling the demands of the job, • Experience welding aluminum (1+ year preferred)
