Job Description Vert Environmental is seeking a self-motivated B2B Sales Representative to grow our client base within a designated territory. In this role, you’ll focus on generating new business by prospecting, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 base + commissions Responsibilities: • Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM, • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events, • Implement and carry out strategies to acquire new clients in your sales territory, • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met, • Follow up with potential customers to showcase and highlight our new products or services, • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead-generating activities goals to ensure future business, • Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand, and close deals efficiently, • Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals, • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information, • Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends, • Grow and maintain customer relationships, • Attend expos and events (golf events, Padres games, happy hours), • Company sales meetings, • Follow all the company's outside sales representative duties, • Set appointments, • Sales talk and objection handler mastery, • Convert “no” into “yes” by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points, • Move your sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel, • Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves, • Follow the business plan, • Client lunches and events, • Door-to-door B2B sales, • Cold calling, • Build client relationshipsQualifications:, • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, • Experience using a CRM is preferred, • To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, • Proven track record of sales experience, 3-5 years, • A bachelor’s degree or high school diploma is preferred, • 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience, • Team-focused, organized, and self-starter with an orientation toward service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines, • Proven track record in sales, • Great communication, • A high school diploma is required, and some industry or product knowledge is preferred, • Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills, • 21 years of age or older, • Goal oriented, • Self-starter, • Good first impression with people, • Teamwork experience, • You are an organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter who loves contributing to your team’s goalsAbout Company Our team of experts provides services for hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead, mold, and bacteria, just to name a few.
