The following are the key responsibilities for this role: • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment, • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information and ensure that bids are competitive, • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project schedules and ensure that estimates are consistent with project requirements, • Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and other relevant information, • Monitor and track project costs and ensure that they remain within budget, • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures when appropriate, • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, • 3+ years of experience in estimating for ground-up construction projects in the light industrial sector, • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations, • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, PlanSwift), • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Interested in hearing more?
