We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and results-oriented IT Business Analyst with Project Management capabilities to join the Digital Legal team of a renowned International Sports Federation. This team is responsible for designing, standardizing, and optimizing digital solutions that support legal operations, compliance, governance, and learning management systems. In this hybrid role, you will lead business analysis efforts and manage selected digital initiatives, ensuring that software products (e.g., case management, compliance tracking, document workflows, arbitration fee distribution) are well specified, delivered on time, and aligned with business goals. You will also contribute to the evolution of business analysis practices and project delivery standards within the team. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis: • Lead business analysis activities within the Digital Legal team., • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, objectives, and KPIs., • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and technical requirements., • Analyze and optimize existing business processes and systems., • Review and refine functional specifications, converting them into actionable user stories., • Support the integration and customization of Legal Tech systems, ensuring compliance and operational alignment., • Conduct testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business expectations., • Facilitate user training and change management activities to support adoption., • Transfer knowledge of new features to the support team and validate the accuracy and completeness of user manuals and documentation. Project Management: • Act as Project Manager for selected initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery., • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource needs., • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues., • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external vendors., • Maintain project documentation and reporting in tools such as Jira and Confluence., • Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming and effort estimation., • Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices and participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)., • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Minimum requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, ideally within legal, sports, or regulated sectors., • Proven experience managing digital projects, preferably in Agile environments., • Familiarity with Legal Tech, compliance platforms, and web portals. Technical Knowledge • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)., • Experience configuring and integrating Jira platforms, including plug-ins and reporting tools., • Basic understanding of APIs, system integration concepts, and data privacy frameworks. Methodologies & Tools • Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)., • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project tracking tools. Soft Skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills., • High attention to detail and analytical thinking., • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams (nearshore/offshore)., • Strong organizational and time management skills. Certifications • Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA) are a plus., • Scrum Master or Agile Project Management certification is an advantage. Language Proficiency • Fluent in English (written and spoken)., • Knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus.
