Role Overview We are hiring an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial development and manage strategic customer relationships. You will own the full sales cycle in the French market: growing our existing presence in ethnic retail while opening and developing new partnerships in mainstream retail, HoReCa, and B2B channels. This role requires someone who can shape the commercial strategy and execute it personally - confident in high-level negotiations with national buyers and equally focused on the operational follow-through that ensures success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Paris, the Netherlands, and South Korea to deliver a seamless customer experience and build Daesang’s footprint in France. Key Responsibilities Account Leadership & Commercial Execution • Manage and grow existing key customer accounts with ownership of revenue, profitability, planning, and forecasting, • Drive business development to secure new listings in national retail groups, and once established, lead commercial negotiations (JBPs, promotions, supply chain coordination), • Ensure high service levels: accurate order processing, documentation, and issue resolution, • Identify new business opportunities across retail, HoReCa, and B2B channels, • Expand distribution beyond Paris with a focus on mainstream and regional retail penetration, • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to shape channel priorities, • Work with logistics, finance, marketing, and QA to ensure smooth commercial execution, • Provide accurate reporting, analysis, and recommendations to guide business decisions Requirements • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales / Account Management in the French food industry (retail or distribution) with at least 2 years at a managerial level., • Demonstrated success selling into GMS: Carrefour, Auchan, Monoprix, etc., • Knowledge of HoReCa and/or B2B channels highly valued, • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and commercial planning skills, • Organized, reliable, and accountable with strong follow-through, • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools, • Fluent in French and English (Korean is a plus), • Fully authorized to work in France What We Offer • Competitive annual salary: €60,000 - €65,000, • Cadre status, • 25 days paid leave per year, • Hybrid work option (1 remote day/week after 3-months’ tenure), • Meal allowance and comprehensive benefits package, • Initial 12-month CDD with long-term growth potential as the French business scales Application Instructions To apply, please submit the following, in English AND French, to: • Your CV, • A cover letter describing your food industry and managerial experience* *applications that do not include both items cannot be considered.
