The role of Food & Beverage Server is to provide a high standard of client and guest care, and an all round great customer experience. Duties include but are not limited to: - Food Service: Provide elegant and efficient food service to guests during events. - Station Setup: This involves preparing the physical bar area for service. - Glassware Polishing: Prior to serving drinks, bartenders are responsible for ensuring that all glassware is clean and free of any smudges or marks. e. - Drink Service: Bartenders must provide attentive and courteous service to guests. - Basic Cocktail Preparation: Some guests may request specific cocktails. Bartenders should be skilled in preparing basic cocktails using the provided ingredients. - Drink Refills: Throughout the event, bartenders need to proactively monitor the drink levels of guests and offer refills as needed. - Glassware Collection: As guests finish their drinks, bartenders should collect the used glassware promptly. - Glassware Stacking: After collecting used glassware, bartenders should stack it neatly. - Bar Station Cleaning: Keeping the bar station clean and well-maintained is crucial during and after the event. - Garbage Disposal: Bartenders are responsible for disposing of any trash or garbage within the bar premise.
