A growing, well-established organisation is seeking a part-time HR/Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a dual-role supporting payroll processing and HR administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day HR operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Process weekly and monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees\n\n * \n\n Collect payroll data (hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions) and ensure compliance with legislation\n\n * \n\n Manage starters, leavers, and contractual changes\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems\n\n * \n\n Support onboarding and offboarding, recruitment administration, and HR documentation\n\n * \n\n Take accurate minutes for HR meetings and support audits or compliance checks\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\n * \n\n Payroll experience (hourly and salaried)\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of payroll legislation\n\n * \n\n Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy\n\n * \n\n Professional and discreet with confidential information\n\n * \n\n Strong administrative and IT skills\n\n * \n\n Excellent organisational and communication skills\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n CIPD qualification (or working towards)\n\n * \n\n Previous HR administration experience\n\n * \n\n Experience with payroll/HR software (e.g., Sage)\n\nPersonal Attributes:\n\n * \n\n Reliable, proactive, and solutions-focused\n\n * \n\n Confident working with people at all levels\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines\n\n * \n\n Committed to high standards and accuracy\n\nThis is a part-time, office based role working 20-25 hours per week.\n\nWhy Apply:\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an HR/Payroll professional to contribute to a people-focused, supportive environment while developing their skills in both payroll and HR administration
