Office & Finance Manager (Maternity cover, fixed term, approx. 10 months) \n The contract will start October 2026 (mid) and end August 2027 (early-mid) \n My client a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Nottingham. is recruiting organised and experienced Office & Finance Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a varied role offering plenty of responsibility, where you'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the business \n Key Responsibilities:Accounts / Bookkeeping / Finance \n\n • Sole bookkeeper for company\n, • Banking reconciliation\n, • Credit card reconciliation\n, • Managing DLA\n, • Purchase Ledger invoices\n, • Sales Ledger invoices\n, • Debt chasing\n, • Payment run\n, • Employee expenses\n, • Reports on sales, cash flow, project profits, etc.\n, • Assets & depreciation\n\n Payroll \n\n • Process workshop paper timesheets weekly\n, • Keep track of overtime for office\n, • Sage 50 Accounts journal\n, • Assist with any employee queries\n\n Sales / Project Support \n\n • Arrange meetings for Director\n, • Support for costing, checking supplier costs, etc.\n, • Quotations\n, • Chasing quotations\n, • Customer queries\n, • Keep up to date with cost variations\n, • Book hotels, trains, etc.\n\n HR \n\n • Starter/HR paperwork\n, • Manage holiday\n, • Log absences/lateness\n, • Take notes during meetings\n, • Keep HR notes up to date\n, • Help with recruitment\n\n Health & Safety \n\n • Administration, chasing of paperwork, etc.\n, • Assist with e-learning\n, • Book servicing, training, etc\n\n General \n\n • Office purchases e.g. stationary\n, • Assist Director as requested\n, • Arrange MOT’s & servicing for company vehicles\n, • Assist with insurance renewals\n\n Essential Experience: \n\n • Previous bookkeeping experience\n, • Sage 50 Accounts\n, • Microsoft Excel\n, • Strong organisational skills\n, • Excellent attention to detail\n, • Ability to manage multiple priorities\n, • Good communication skills\n\n Benefits include: \n\n • Pay: Competitive, dependant on experience, monthly, last Friday of every month\n, • Days: Monday to Friday, would consider 4 or 5 days\n, • Hours: 8am to 4pm, half an hour lunch break\n, • Office based\n, • Free Parking \n, • Holidays - 20 days plus 8 bank holidays full allowance January-December, this will be pro rata depending on exact dates of contract & if 4 or 5 days\n, • Pension: After 3 months\n, • Dress Code: Casual\n
