Job Summary: As a Junior Product Manager, you will support the effective management of product marketing data across the business. Your responsibilities will include product creation and discontinuation, data enrichment and proofing, compiling and supplying content for publications, maintaining website data, and supporting promotional activities. The role will be hybrid-based, requiring a combination of on-site presence and remote work. Key responsibilities: • Assists in the management of active product set (APS) product data including categorisation, attribute data and digital assets, • Assists in managing item life cycle of APS products from the creation of products to their discontinuation, • Gathering and editing rich content (extended descriptions and specification tables) for loading onto our PIM system (Agility), • Continually monitor FreshDesk tickets and take relevant actions to resolve issues – prioritising on urgent and important tasks, • Proof reading of marketing materials and catalogues, • Supporting the Senior Product Manager(s) in the implementation and measurement of effective promotional programmes, • Supports marketing team activity and the wider business with such tasks as may be defined by the Senior Product Manager(s) or Head of Product Management The Ideal Candidate: • Educated to degree level in a science subject or alternatively experience of working in a laboratory environment would be an advantage, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Some knowledge of the suppliers and brands that make up the SLS portfolio, • Confident in the use of MS applications, especially Excel, • Comfortable handling of large amounts of product data acquired from a variety of sources, • Great attention to detail About us: Being the leading independent distributor of laboratory supplies in the UK does not come easy.
