Role & What’s in it for the applicant and why would they apply?: This is a pure wireless engineering role for someone who genuinely knows their way around enterprise-grade Aruba wireless environments and wants to operate at 3rd line without being dragged into out-of-hours chaos. You’ll be joining a specialist networking team where wireless is treated as a core platform, not an afterthought. The focus is on stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement across large, business-critical environments. There’s no on-call, sensible working hours, and real flexibility on location, with multiple UK offices available. Responsibilities: • Provide 3rd line support for complex Aruba wireless environments., • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced wireless performance, roaming, and stability issues., • Support and improve enterprise WLAN architectures across multiple sites., • Work closely with network and security teams to ensure wireless aligns with wider infrastructure standards., • Contribute to wireless design improvements, optimisations, and best practices., • Assist with ClearPass-related troubleshooting and policy enforcement where required., • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation., • Act as a technical escalation point for wireless-related incidents and problems. Skills / Must Have: • Strong, hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless in enterprise environments., • Proven capability operating at 3rd line wireless support level., • Solid understanding of WLAN design principles, RF fundamentals, and troubleshooting., • Experience supporting secure wireless networks in regulated or sensitive environments., • Eligible for SC Clearance (or already SC cleared). Nice to Have: • Aruba ClearPass experience., • Aruba certifications (ACMP, ACSP, etc.)., • Experience working across multi-site or nationally distributed estates.
