The organisation has around 20% market share within education and healthcare catering, with clear growth ambitions and a strong pipeline of opportunity. Role Overview As Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in Nottingham and the surrounding area. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, recognition, and support to drive territory performance. Your focus will be on winning new business while also nurturing existing accounts. You'll be selling a proven and in-demand product, engaging with multi-academy trusts, schools, contract caterers, buying groups, and NHS sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and driven individual with foodservice sales experience to develop their career in a high-growth, values-driven business. Key Responsibilities • Generate new business in line with targets (2 new business appointments per week)., • Manage a territory of 100-150 existing clients, with 2-3 visits per year per account., • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, contract caterers, and healthcare providers., • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and tastings to decision-makers., • Proactively self-source leads through networking and territory knowledge., • Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on pipeline and performance. Requirements • 2 years' experience in foodservice sales., • Proven track record of achieving sales targets., • Energetic, driven, and motivated to prove success in a competitive market., • Strong relationship-building and presentation skills., • Ability to manage both new business development and account management., • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
