Area: Southern Home CountiesPackage: Competitive salary + car allowance + fuel card for business and personal use + up to 25% bonusSector: Social Housing, Refurbishment, Planned Works, Retrofit, Property ServicesAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Surveyor or Refurbishment Quantity Surveyor with a background in retrofit, planned works, social housing, refurbishment or property services ?This is a rare opportunity to join a national property services and retrofit company delivering long-term, high-quality contracts across the UK.Whether working in London, the Valleys, the Scottish Borders, Yorkshire or Liverpool , the business delivers the same high standard of work across every region, with long-term quality contracts across social housing, education, retail and hospitality properties .Whats in it for you?Competitive salaryCar allowanceFuel card for business and personal useBonus potential of up to 25%Long-term retrofit, refurbishment and planned works contractsOpportunity to join a respected national property services and retrofit businessCommercially important role with real influence across live projectsStrong pipeline of meaningful property improvement programmesThe RoleAs Quantity Surveyor , you will take commercial ownership of refurbishment, retrofit and planned works projects across the Southern Home Counties.You will manage costs from tender stage through to final account, working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors to protect margins, control costs, manage variations and ensure accurate commercial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cost estimates, tenders and contract documentationManage project costs, budgets and procurement activityPrepare valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accountsReview subcontractor quotations, appointments and paymentsMonitor commercial performance from tender through to final accountSupport cost forecasting, cash collection and margin protectionIdentify commercial risks, cost pressures and value recovery opportunitiesProduce accurate commercial reports for internal and client reviewWork closely with site and operations teams to support project deliveryAbout YouThis role may suit someone currently working as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Surveyor, Commercial Manager, Retrofit Quantity Surveyor or Refurbishment Quantity Surveyor .You will need experience in construction, property services, refurbishment, retrofit, planned works or social housing .You will also bring:Strong cost control, valuation and variation experienceExperience managing subcontractor procurement, payments and commercial documentationKnowledge of JCT and/or NEC contractsStrong commercial awareness and margin protection skillsConfidence working with operational teams, clients and subcontractorsStrong organisation, reporting skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects or work packages at the same timeFull UK driving licenceHighly Relevant ExperienceExperience across retrofit projects, decarbonisation works, social housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, EWI, fabric upgrades, roofing, windows, doors, insulation, kitchens, bathrooms, voids or disrepair works would be highly relevant.Apply NowThis is a strong opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a commercially important role with real influence across live refurbishment and retrofit projects.Apply today for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
