Key responsibilities • To manage the complete operation and administration of the Lounge Bar and Cocktail Bar department., • Be a constant presence and host within the bar area to greet guests, present menus and take orders as required., • Supervise all areas of guest service, ensuring the highest level of attention at all times., • Set the standards in the Bars in conjunction with the F&B Manager., • Ensure the quality of food and beverage produce is of the highest standard at all times., • Be an ambassador for Ashdown Park Hotel and promote all services and events to all guests., • Embed a sales philosophy within the departments to encourage up-selling at all times., • Highly motivated, professional bar person with experience of mixology, UK Licensing regulations and working in a luxury Hotel environment., • Proven track record of achieving exceptional results in a fast paced environment and be able to adapt to the needs of the business and our guests requirements., • An excellent level of knowledge of both food and wine and enjoy keeping up to date with current trends., • Customer focused, with the ability to anticipate our guests needs; multi task; and the passion/motivation to deliver the finest, most memorable customer service., • Excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests with an organised and friendly approach., • With proven experience of managing, coaching and developing teams, you will enjoy motivating others to be their best, achieve their goals and full potential.
