SEMH Teacher - Specialist Setting (Epilepsy & Neurological Conditions) Location: LingfieldContract: Full-time / PermanentSalary: £130 - £200 dependant on qualifications and experiece We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school supporting children and young people with epilepsy and associated neurological, emotional, and mental health needs. The Role As an SEMH Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs and epilepsy, • Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment, • Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development, • Work closely with therapists, clinicians, and support staff to implement individual education and care plans, • Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support learning and wellbeing, • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), • Has experience working with SEMH needs, SEND, or vulnerable learners, • Has a strong understanding of behaviour support and emotional wellbeing, • Is calm, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication skills, • Is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding Experience working with pupils with epilepsy, neurological conditions, or in specialist settings is desirable but not essential-full training and ongoing professional development will be provided.
