    Office Administrator An established and well-regarded business based in East Grinstead is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join its team as soon as possible. This is a key administrative role within the business, sitting between a Senior Administrator and Office Manager level. The successful candidate will take ownership of a range of office and administrative responsibilities, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting the wider team. This opportunity would suit someone with strong previous administration experience who is ready to step into a more senior, lead-level position. You will need to be highly organised, confident with systems, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy office environment. Key Responsibilities • Taking responsibility for a broad range of office administration duties, • Supporting the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis, • Using Word, spreadsheets, and internal systems confidently and accurately, • Coordinating office-related tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently, • Handling or delegating light office management duties, such as office supplies, shopping, and general facilities tasks, • Communicating professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and wider stakeholders, • Supporting the wider team with administrative processes and organisation, • Helping to maintain a fair, professional, and well-organised office environment About You The ideal candidate will have: • Previous administration experience at a senior, lead, or highly responsible level, • Strong IT skills, particularly with Word and spreadsheets, • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, • The ability to manage multiple office-related responsibilities, • Good communication skills and a professional, fair approach, • Confidence taking ownership of tasks and following things through, • The ability to delegate where appropriate, • A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to support with varied office tasks, • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to the office location Being local to East Grinstead would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
